Following the success of our 2023 Summit, this year’s event will once again bring together practitioners, policymakers, researchers, advocates and community leaders to share learning, highlight innovation, and strengthen collaboration across the child and family sector.
For Summit 2025, we are doing things a little differently. There will be plenty of time for conversations and deep dives so inputs need to be short, sharp and bang on theme.
We welcome proposals from delegates for presentations in Lightning Rounds (Pecha-Kucha style) and Posters. Abstracts are invited from the practice, policy, research and academic communities in relation to the key thematic areas, including:
- The Early Years, including antenatal support and home-visiting
- Child poverty
- (Mental) health and wellbeing, including disabilities
- Adverse Childhood experiences (ACEs)
- Supporting refugees / those seeking international protection
- Trauma-informed care
- Domestic, sexual and gender-based violence
- Parenting and/or family support
- Youth work
Although we are calling for contributions on these themes, other relevant topics are welcome. All submissions must reflect the overarching prevention and early intervention theme of the conference.
The deadline for submissions is September 24th, 2025. Please ensure that you submit your abstract using the template attached below. Further details on presentation types and timelines can be found on this template and in the guidelines attached.
Successful applicants will be notified by October 01st, 2025. Please note that all presenters are required to register.
